Our History

Building Trust for Over 15 Years

Founded in Detroit, Hearts in Hand Incorporated began with a simple mission: to fill the gap in non-medical support services for vulnerable community members. Under the leadership of Housing Manager Jokwon Alexander, we have grown from a small community initiative to a trusted 501(c)(3) community organization serving hundreds of families across Detroit. Our journey has been guided by the belief that everyone deserves to live with dignity, surrounded by compassionate support. From our community house at 15232 Collingham, Detroit, MI 48205, we have built a team of dedicated caregivers who share our commitment to excellence and empathy.
